Jay...Mijn allereerste eigen hondje !
Als ik aan Jay denk, dan moet ik altijd een beetje lachen. Jay is hier echt de "mafkees" onder de honden ;)
Hij is nu ondertussen 7 jaar, en ik kan mij nog heel goed herinneren dat hij hier als puppy in huis kwam..
Een klein eigenwijs maar onzeker ventje, het heeft lang geduurd voordat hij fatsoenlijk aan een lijntje wou lopen.
Daarom werd hij ook maar gedragen, dat heeft hij goed voor elkaar gekregen. Uiteindelijk is het wel helemaal goed gekomen met hem.
Hij is nu een stoere zelfverzekerde kerel, vooral tegenover andere honden is hij heel erg "t mannetje". Naar vreemden mensen kan hij soms wat terughoudend zijn,
maar dat is ook met de jaren eigelijk steeds minder geworden. Thuis slaat hij altijd even aan als er bezoek binnen komt, maar gaan de mensen eenmaal zitten
dan springt hij direct op schoot en gaat knuffelen. Jay is echt een enorme knuffelkont, geen hond hier die zoals Jay knuffelt.
Pootjes gooit hij om de nek en dan kussen maar;)
Gehoorzaamheid is helemaal niks voor hem, ook leuke kunstjes uitvoeren vind hij maar niks. Waarom zoveel moeite doen als je ook iets lekker krijgt als je alleen maar lief kijkt?
Zo is Jay nou eenmaal, hij loopt wel minuten lang op zijn achterpoten of zit er bij als een circushondje met zijn pootjes omhoog maar andere kunsten wil hij niet leren;)
Showen heeft hij ook even gedaan, in die periode was hij heel erg truttig op de tafel dat koste hem dan vaak ook de hoogste kwalificatie.

Jay is my very first own dog! If I think to Jay, I always start to laugh a bit!
He is really the strangest dog of all the others ;-) He is now 7 years old, and I still can remember the day that he came here as a little puppy.
A little cocky but unsure guy, it took a long time before he could normally walk to a lead! So we put him in a bag, and carried him haha!
He loves it! Eventually he became a confident guy, especially to other dogs, he think he is the biggest! To strangers he can be a little bit shy, but
over the years is that actually much less! At home he always start to bark when people come in, but when they sit he directly jumps on there sheet
and want to cuddle! He loves it, and there is no other dog who can cuddle like him. Legs around the neck, and kissing !
He don't like obedience and doing tricks for me. Why doing so much difficulty, when you get a cookie as you only watch nice?
That is Jay! He can walks minutes long on his legs behind, or sitting like a circusdog, but other tricks he don't want to learn!
